| Variable Speed Fluid Couplings Fluid couplings can provide exceptional speed control and stability under varying load conditions. To achieve this level of control requires a high performance modulating actuator to provide precises positioning of the scoop tube. We have retrofitted a number of fluid coupling installations, including fans, pumps, conveyors and mill, on both scoop filling and scoop trimming (pump fill) coupling designs. Each upgrade has significantly improved the coupling performance, reduced maintenance, and in some cases reduced the overall absorbed power of the system.
